The Sprigler Family
I have been at St. Charles as the Development Officer for a little over a year, and I want to say how wonderful it has been getting to see and gather with so many old and new friends. My focus here is to work with alumni and parents in the area of planned giving. I've spent the last year meeting with folks, listening to their St. Charles stories. Although all have unique stories to tell, one common recurring sentiment comes forward: their desire to give back to a special school that they care so much about.
One family that I've been talking with is the Spriglers. They have two sons who have graduated from St. Charles and have shared this testimonial about why they are including St. Charles in their plans:
"Becoming Borromean Society members was a natural way for us to ensure the future for young men as well as support the school that they would choose to attend. St. Charles is an experience that educates a fraternity of men who are prepared to make a positive difference in their family, their community and their world.
The gifts we have been blessed with in life have come about through hard work and sacrifice, and our giving to the school is intentional. Our sons' (Stuart '13 and Patrick '17) experience at St. Charles has prepared them well for their futures. We have become part of the broader St. Charles family, a community demonstrating that it is our actions and not our words by which our lives are changed...Facta non Verba."
Once again, thank you for your support and friendship. Please feel free to reach out to me here at St. Charles if you are considering adding the school to your plans or have any questions about the various ways to leave a legacy.
